TabLight helps you quickly switch between browser tabs. All tab data processing happens locally on your device. We do NOT collect, store, or transmit your browsing data to any servers.
Tab Information (Local Processing Only)
TabLight accesses the following information to provide tab switching functionality:
Tab titles - To display in search results
Tab URLs - To show website addresses and enable searching
Favicons - To display website icons for visual recognition
Page meta descriptions and keywords - To improve search relevance
Recently closed tabs - To allow you to reopen recently closed tabs
IMPORTANT: All of this information is processed entirely on your local device. It is NEVER transmitted to our servers or any third party.
Payment Processing
If you purchase a premium subscription, we use Razorpay as our third-party payment processor. Razorpay handles all payment transactions securely.
We DO NOT store:
Credit card numbers
Debit card details
CVV codes
Banking information
We DO store:
Your email address (for receipts and subscription management)
Subscription status and plan type
Transaction IDs (for record-keeping only)

Device information
All tab data remains on your device and is never stored on our servers. This data is managed by your browser and cleared when you close tabs or clear browser data.
If you have a premium subscription:
During active subscription: We retain your email and subscription details
After cancellation: We retain transaction records for 7 years for tax and legal compliance
Account deletion: You can request full deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at admin@rishabh-anand.com
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:
All payment processing is handled through Razorpay's secure, PCI-compliant infrastructure
Email addresses and subscription data are stored on secure servers with encryption
We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only
TabLight uses the following third-party service:
Razorpay - Payment processing (only for premium subscriptions)
We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, or other tracking services.
TabLight requests the following Chrome permissions:
tabs: To read tab titles, URLs, and favicons for the search interface
activeTab: To switch focus to the selected tab
sessions: To access and restore recently closed tabs
Host permissions (<all_urls>): To inject the search overlay on any webpage and extract meta descriptions for improved search
You have the right to:
Request a copy of your data (premium users only - we'll provide your email and subscription details)
Request deletion of your account and data
Unsubscribe from email communications
Cancel your subscription at any time
Uninstall the extension at any time
TabLight is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
Sending an email to premium subscribers (if applicable)
Your continued use of TabLight after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy
TabLight is operated from India. If you are accessing the service from outside India, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in India.
